Don’t pronounce the ‘ch’

Abous UsSo what can I say about myself. As you tell from the name “Donnach” I’m Irish…or a Dubliner to be more precise. And don’t blame me for the name. There are in fact 86 different pronunciations of the name…so there will be a competition to choose the correct one! I’ve spent the past 20 years living and working in places like Washington DC, Luxembourg, and now London.

One of the most exciting things about being in London is being able to go to Chelsea games. Yes, you’ve guessed it, for my sins, I am a mad Chelsea fan. Go easy on me, but for some strange reason I have been a fan since I was 7 years old. I saw them play on TV as a nipper (as we say in Dublin!) growing up and I was hooked…so thankfully I was a fan long before Roman moved in!!! CFC, the ultimate London brand :)

I love music…and yes, especially rock music…I love it!!! I’m a big fan of U2, Springsteen, REM… so, as you can imagine, I am ecstatic at the prospect of working with all of you guys at the Golden Square building creating a whole new music based entertainment around pop & rock. Happy, happy days!!!

I love to travel and experience new cultures. I’m going through a Brazilian phase at the moment. Beautiful country, great weather, awesome food and wonderful people… Take my advice, go visit there if ever you get the chance. (Hence the ‘International’ in our company name!

And yes, you should also know that I have a small lighthouse in Ireland. I know, it’s mad, but it’s true. The thing is that it is in a very special place, the most south westerly point in Ireland. It’s a totally remote place, and is where my grandfather and my ancestors originated from. So there is some method to my madness!

Well, that just a few bits and pieces about me. I am really looking to getting to know all of you over the coming weeks. Clive, Adrian and I believe we all have an opportunity to do something special here, to create one of the most exciting music and entertainment brands - in the world - and we will all be part of this amazing journey together.

I can’t wait but we need your ideas and thoughts.
