Funnily enough, I don't recall seeing any of those ads on TV either, and I live in England, and watch TV, and fit the listener target demo, and am clearly an anorak who pays attention to these things. I guess they were played out more intensely in London??

I do recall seeing the Pete'n'Geoff boiled eggs one at the cinema, though. Best of a pretty poor bunch, I'd say.

OK, I'm feeling very creative this morning. Unfortunately living in new yawk, I don't see the tv adverts but here's some thoughts:

1. Have every presenter wear an Amy Winehouse coiffure, include some verbiage about the station, and have the real Amy Winehouse stop by, look at the fake Amys, and comment. If not Amy, pick someone else to utilize w/a significant trademark look.

2. Gorilla suits- an advert w/people in gorilla suits is always memorable

3. Put together an advert w/the station's "Odd Couple" of presenters. Old/young, clean/not clean, etc. so long as there is a definite contrast. This could result in an ongoing series of adverts as people watch "the relationship" evolve.

That's it for now. I have to email a presenter about something trivial and unrelated to the broadcast.

You're a bad man, Flower. A very bad man. Just seeing those eggs again is inducing salmonella-like symptoms.

Here's a little secret: They weren't REAL excerpts from the radio show! You'd never have guessed, would you?
