Further to yesterday’s post, some further indication on what the No Repeat Guarantee means.
The updated results below mean we have now surpassed Radio 2 as the UK radio station that plays the most individual tracks per week.

Tim, I’m finding the lack of repetition tough to cope with. Is it possible to have a programme where perhaps the same two songs are repeated continuously over an entire hour?

Thats great but… could we have a “classics… no repeat for a week”? I was driven mad by “Stuck in the Middle” by Stealers Wheel that was played at least once a day for about 10 days. Argh!!!!
Hello. We're Donnach, Clive and Adrian. At the end of June 2008 we joined the team at One Golden Square, with big plans for the UK's biggest commercial radio station. This blog is where we are discussing and shaping our audio and online radio vision. Anyone from the team is welcome to write a post, and comments are, of course, welcome from all.
In the news
Chris Martin on denying that Coldplay could sell out 21 nights like the artist formerly known as Prince.
'No, I don't think we could....you can't do that unless you've got impeccable facial hair....with this facial hair we could probably sell out five nights'. To Christian O'Connell, Absolute Radio
'An Absolutely new vision for commercial radio' Media Monkey headline on Guardian Unlimited on Monday 29th September.
'I can't wait to hear Absolute' Coldplay's Chris Martin, as reported on Mirror.co.uk on 29th September
'Absolute orders £5m breakfast show revamp' Broadcast headline, 26th September
'Absolute is letting listeners help pick the music. Is it a gimmick or the future? .....having met Clive Dickens, I know he's passionate in his belief that radio in this country can and should be done better, more so than any of the industry's other figureheads. Dickens wouldn't waste time trying something if he thought no good would come of it. Maybe Absolute Radio will sing a different song to the rest of the industry.' This is really great news I am loving the variety, I’m reluctant to turn off at all in case I miss something good.

Alistair, you’ve given me an idea (which as you read my posts here, is usually problematic).
Let’s list out songs we DON’T want to hear for ages:
1. Stealers Wheel- Stuck in the Middle
2. Noah & the Whale- 5 yrs time
3.
Please feel free to add your choice(s).
