How about using last.fm like Radios 1 and 2 do?

I think you should rank listeners this way too:

A list- listens to nearly every programme every day of the week, VIP, emails regularly (maybe too often)

B list- only listens during work, VIP, emails sporadically

C list- listens to select programmes only, VIP, emails just those programmes

Z list- doesn’t listen at all, posts critical comments on the blog, staff wishes he/she would get hit by a bus

There’s probably a wide difference between C and Z.

Hi Jason – Good question!

A-list tracks are our top songs which receive most play.
B-list tracks are our 2nd tier.
C-list tracks are specialist tracks – we sometimes drop them in throughout the day, but they tend to be more evening records. You can hear them on Ben Jones’ show – weekdays 8pm-midnight.
When we move a track up – the amount of plays it will get on a higher list won’t normally be reflected on the playcount until the following week.

Is anyone able to explain the significance of the A-List compared to the B-List and C-List?

I imagine that the A-List tracks are the most regularly played and have noticed that some C-List tracks have moved to the B-List since last week. How is this determined?

When will I hear C-List tracks? During the day, evening or weekends?
