I look forward to seeing Absolute Radio travel around the UK. Afterall they have a "National" licence so it's only fair that they travel around their broadcast area and I look forward to seeing them in Northern Ireland - maybe even a week long outside broadcast??

As for DAB - AR isn't on the DAB platform in Northern Ireland and with the winter nights fast drawing in, the AM signal tends to fade from late afternoon onwards. it is a shame as I would visit my sister which is a 2 hour drive and I don't like having to switch to another station half way into the journey. There is only 1 AM transmitter in Northern Ireland.

I hope it won't be too long before the DAB problem gets sorted.

Great promotion. For a London station.

But, is it really quite enough, on a national station, to write "we're hoping to do something similar elsewhere in the country.."? Especially as the benefits of a DAB radio for a listener outside London are much greater than the benefits inside London, who can already hear you in stereo on 105.8?
