One thousand Absolute Radio listeners had their in-car listening turned from polyester to silk in the last few months as we gave away Pure Highway DAB in-car radios like a mother giving love to her new-born.
Our listeners love their new in-car toys and it seems they are not alone. The makers of the Highway are celebrating it becoming the second best selling audio product for cars in 2008. Sales went up by 300% compared to 2007. In a Peter Snow kinda way, here’s another stat for you – the Highway accounted for more than 95% of the in-car DAB audio market in December… so back-patting all round to the people at Pure and those savvy drivers out there.
If you’ve been living on Salostophus* and don’t know what we’re talking about, the Pure Highway is dead easy to fit, is powered from the cigarette lighter socket and attached to the windscreen like a sat-nav.
