It was a cold January night when Iain Lee asked me if I fancied popping into Studio H from the production room for a quick wrestle during a Kings of Leon song. The slightly demonic and frenzied look in his eye, suggested that I was about to take the pasting of a lifetime and so I politely, yet firmly, declined such an inviting offer. Besides, how could I leave our faithful audience hanging on the line whilst Wrestlemania 50 took place in the bowels of the building.

Alright, I’m a coward. I’ll admit it. Throughout my short-ish life I’ve actively avoided violence and with that in mind (and suitable clearance from our wonderful in house lawyer) Iain threw the invitation open to the listener.

And so it is that on April the 28th, Iain “The General” Lee will don his lycra suit and take on one lucky listener in what must surely be a radio first.

And in traditional style, the highlights will be broadcast on The Sunday night show on the 3rd of May.

And the tough talking has started already…
