Absolute Radio Scoops Digital Arqiva Award Nomination

Cementing Absolute Radio’s well deserved reputation as digital innovators, the station last night picked up an Arqiva Commercial Radio Award nomination for the Absolute Radio MiniAmp. In this category we’re up against Global Radio Creative Technology for their iPhone Application and talkSPORT for their talkSPORT magazine.

The well respected commercial radio industry awards, now in their 14th year, are organised by RadioCentre, the industry body for Commercial Radio. They recognise excellence and talent in all aspects of Commercial Radio from sales and marketing to technical innovation and presenting.

Our very own Christian O’Connell will be hosting the award ceremony which will take place on the evening of Friday, 5th June at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.

    Congratulations on the Digital Award nomination. Part of the joy of listening is bearing witness to innovation which only makes its way over the pond months or even years later.
