Milow – Ayo Technology (available now)
Milow is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Belgium. His version of a track originally recorded by 50 Cent has been a big hit across Europe this summer, where it has gone to #1 in several countries.

Elbow – The Bones Of You (available now)
Following their stunning recent performances at T-in-The-Park and Manchester International Festival, Absolute Radio is featuring another track from the band’s award-winning album ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’. Elbow are set to round off the summer with a highly-anticipated performance at the V Festival in August.

Jack Penate – Pull My Heart Away (24th August)
New song from Jack’s 2nd album ‘Everything Is New’ which has received glowing reviews across the press. This single calls to mind the guitar-work of The Smiths’ Johnny Marr.

Paolo Nutini – Coming Up Easy (10th August)
2nd single from Paolo’s #1 album ‘Sunny Side Up’. Following recent performances at the Isle of Wight festival, Glastonbury and T-in-The-Park, Paolo joins the line-up for the V Festival in August.

Skint and Demoralised – Red Lipstick (20th July)
This is the 3rd single release from Skint and Demoralised, AKA 20-year-old Matt Abbott from Wakefield, West Yorkshire. His debut album ‘Love, And Other Catastrophes’ is due in October. In the meantime; all together now – “She likes Red Lipstick, Fish and Chips, Orange Juice and Trips to the Seaside…”

Jersey Budd – She Came Back (20th July)
First featured on Absolute Radio last Autumn, Jersey Budd’s finest song so far gets a full release. Tom from Kasabian, who went to the same school, provides backing vocals on the track. Jersey has been busy touring his debut album ‘Wonderlands’, with support slots for Paul Weller and The Enemy, both of whom are fans.

Hockey moves up to daytime.
