Since Alistair brought up the ads, right now the most annoying ads for me are the sing-song ones.

Can you get immodium back as a sponsor? Their ads were great. (You have no idea how hard it is for me to hold back from writing more).

Clive... the bit about the ads... we are bombarded with accident claim ads. What are you trying to tell us?

P.S. My name isn't Bob... or is it?

I agree. The personal touch is incredibly important. This is what attracted me to the station initially.

When I was sitting in an accounting office in new yawk and a man from England read my name out on the radio for the first time, it did wonders for my low self-esteem.

Here I was a pathetic accountant in new yawk while in England my name was read out on the radio.

People love name checks and responses to emails by the on-air DJ. It's better than any prize.

The use of facebook and twitter for interaction with the listeners is also a wonderful thing.
