So August saw Twatgate, Fantasy Football and the V Festival as just some of the activity on the station and  website.    It was a massive month for us and if you look at how many people that searched for Absolute Radio on Google you can see us increase considerably in the rankings.  Google search is a nice measure for what’s on peoples mind.

We still have some way to go before as many people search for us than Radio 1, but I think this is good progress, down to some great content plus distributing the content far and wide around the web.

It’s also good to see that   people that are searching for “Virgin Radio” continues to decline as more people become aware of Absolute Radio.

We had 14,000 people searching for stories containing David Cameron and Absolute.  30,000 people searching for our Fantasy football game and 16,000 people searching for Absolute Radio and V festival.    I reckon that with what we have planned,  we will top the 50,000 mark for our  1st birthday party.  September is going to be even stronger.
