Absolute is becoming unlistenable with Christian in the mornings playing about three songs an hour, and Iain Lee and the likes of Tim Shaw wallocking on in the evenings. Iain may be a talented broadcaster, but I don't select a music station to listen to a person talking or doing stand up. Maybe Absolute need to launch another spinoff station, Absolute Talk ? There are pleanty of other stations that are run of the mill and it's ace that Absolute and Iain both know their audience and aren't afraid to say "don't like it, then don't listen". Iain has a very specific sense of humour, which is either liked or hated. Its like Marmite. Ben Jones however seems to appeal to many. Having someone on every night who polarises opinion is yet another way Absolute is becoming more like Radio One. Trying to meet everyones tastes, and actually meeting none. I'm 34 if that matters.
