The playlist is out now.


Foo Fighters – Wheels (18th October)
One of 2 new songs on the long-awaited ‘Greatest Hits’ (released 2nd November), the band’s first compilation. This is classic Foo Fighters, in the mould of songs like ‘Everlong’ and is available to download 18th October. ‘Greatest Hits’ covers 6 studio albums over a period of 15 years-plus that have seen Dave Grohl’s band become one of the world’s best rock acts.


Stereophonics – Inncocent (9th November)
1st single from Stereophonics’s new album ‘Keep Calm And Carry On’ (16/11) – their 7th studio album. Anyone who saw the band’s awesome ‘best-of’ set at the Isle of Wight festival this year – where they aired this song – will know that they’ve rarely sounded better. You can hear the performance in full again on Monday 28th September from 8pm, as part of Absolute Radio’s 1st Birthday celebrations.

Shinedown – If You Only Knew (26th October)
The Florida 4-piece, who have sold over 6 million albums in the States, follow-up single ‘Second Chance’ with this track from their album ‘The Sound of Madness’. Having played Download festival earlier in the summer the band return to the UK for a headline tour in November.
