Playing her Elbow’s One Day Like This as a special song she likes as the car headed towards their love nest he declared this must be the song of the decade.

And ‘Song of the Decade’ was born.

Now Christian’s campaign to find the nation’s Song of the Decade is being partnered by Spotify.

We’ve got a dedicated site, www.absoluteradio.co.uk/songofthedecade, where listeners can hear suggested songs of the decade from Snow Patrol, Keane and The Ting Tings to help inspire them to make their own choices from the top airplay and sales lists from 2000 to 2009. There’s also going to be a dedicated page on Spotify for the campaign and Absolute Radio branded ads will also promote the activity.
