Journey – Don’t Stop Believing (available now)
Its not the first time a vintage track has been added to the Absolute playlist and it won’t be the last. But few songs the age of Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ show the same sort of relevance. Since it was used as the song that closed the final episode of ‘The Sopranos’, ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ has become one of the most downloaded songs from its era and has been bubbling around the lower reaches of the charts for most of 2009. This week the song is likely to achieve its highest-ever UK chart placing and its playlist addition reflects its status as one of the most requested songs on Absolute Radio.
Noah & The Whale – Love of an Orchestra (16th November)
