New Mug Policy for One Golden Square

Good morning.

I am writing to inform everyone of a vital new initiative here at Absolute Radio, designed to make all of our afternoon tea-times just a little bit less stressful. Several departments have had input into the development of this critical policy.

Basically, there are never any mugs in the zoo after lunchtime, because everyone keeps the ones they used at the start of the day on their desks, where they sit idly. If we all returned our old mugs to the zoo at some point in the late morning, then a strategic dishwasher run could be done in plenty of time for the afternoon tea-run.

SO!

At around 11:30 every morning, expect to hear a bing-bong reminding staff to please return their used mugs to the zoo, and ideally place them directly into the dishwasher. The workies will then kindly turn on said dishwasher at noon every day.

All feedback welcome – this has been rubber-stamped by some of the top-brass…

Love from

Mug-man

    Thank you Mug-man.

If this proves successful, can a working group be organised to examine the potential for a similar initiative to cover cutlery.

Where can I get an Absolute Radio mug?

Incidentally, the reason there are no mugs in the Absolute Zoo after lunchtime is because they are all sleeping off their lunch!

Personally, I wouldn’t go anywhere near a mug that was even touched by someone in my accounting office. But then again, I put my mouth right on the faucet to get a drink of water.

Haha, wonderful blog and Lee Price’s response. We have 12 of your mugs here at our work… do you want to send someone over to wash them up?
