Amy MacDonald – Don’t Tell Me That It’s Over (22nd February)
Amy’s debut ‘This Is The Life’ was one of the breakthrough British albums in 2007 – and huge in her native Scotland. The singer-songwriter returns, aged still only 22 years, with this track from her new album, which is set for release at the beginning of March.
Muse – Resistance (22nd February)
The title track from the 5th Muse album gets a full single release.
Plan B – Stay Too Long (11th January)
Plan B is 26 year old Londoner Ben Drew, who recently took a turn acting opposite Michael Caine in the acclaimed British thriller ‘Harry Brown’. His 2nd album ‘The Defamation of Strickland Banks’ will be released in March – and we think this track from it sounds like a lost Lenny Kravitz classic.
Vampire Weekend – Cousins (11th January)
The New York 4-piece return with 2nd album ‘Contra’, recorded in Mexico City, and this single – a natural successor to their hit ‘A-Punk’ – and with a similarly great video.
Florence And The Machine – Hurricane (22nd March)
Hurricane will be the latest single to be lifted from Florence’s brilliant debut album.
