The second annual Twestival event takes place tonight, with thousands of people around the globe using social networking site Twitter to co-ordinate fundraising events. In 2009, the first global event took place in 202 cities, raising over $250,000 for Charity:Water.
This year it will support Concern Worldwide, bringing education to the world’s poorest children. And we’re pleased to be able to help out in a small way by donating a pair of tickets to an exclusive live session in the Absolute Radio Zoo for one lucky bidder in the London Twestival auction, and a further prize to the Farnham Twestival event.
It’s a great example of people around the world using new technology to come together to make a difference. So if you’re at the London or Farnham events, dig deep and bid whatever you can!
