More Award Nominations

Happy Monday and we start with some great news – Absolute Radio has been shortlisted for 2 prestigious Music Week Awards 2010.

We’ve been nominated for National Radio Station of the Year alongside Classic FM, Radios 1 & 2 plus 6 Music. Compare My Radio has also been shortlisted for Consumer-Facing Digital Service. This follows a ‘Dragons Den’ style presentation by John Martin and Tony Moorey to a panel of judges selected by Music Week. For a project which is still in its infancy, to get this recognition is an emphatic pat on the back for the OGS Labs team.

These awards are huge within the industry as they cover everything from ‘best festival’ to ‘live venue’ and best studio’ – Absolute Radio is rubbing shoulders with some very illustrious company and so fingers crossed.

Well done to everyone involved.

    “emphatic back on the back”

Think it is supposed to be “pat on the back” – hope this helps.

Congratulations to all concerned. It’s great to see the station doing so well and being recognised accordingly.
