The Great DAB Giveaway by Paul Sylvester

This morning Christian O’Connell invited listeners who drive vans to come to Absolute Radio’s home in London’s Golden Square to collect a free PURE Highway DAB in-car radio.

There were 100 radios on offer and we managed to bring Soho to a standstill as the vans converged on the square at 9am. Christian and Richie left the warmth of the studio to hand out the radios. The great van giveaway came a year after the OC did the same for black cab drivers – who will be next?

    I hope this giveaway will be repeated elsewhere in the UK instead of just concentrating on London every time.
