The Drums – ‘Forever And Ever Amen’The New York band’s unusual mix of 50s surf-rock and Factory-Records-era indie has made them one of 2010’s standout new acts. Following a support slot on Florence and The Machine’s UK tour, The Drums play with Kings of Leon at their huge London Hyde Park show on June the 30th. Their self-titled debut album is released this week.
I Am Kloot – ‘Northern Skies’
Manchester 3-piece I Am Kloot release their new album ‘Sky At Night’ on the 5th of July, featuring stunning new single ‘Northern Skies’. The band were formed in 1999 and are led by Johnny Bramwell – a songwriter’s songwriter who counts Pete Doherty and Elbow’s Guy Garvey amongst his many fans. Having produced their debut album, Garvey, alongside Elbow bandmate Craig Potter, has returned to produce the new album, perhaps the band’s finest to date.
