Absolute Radio’s Sponsorship and Promotions Team has made the shortlist at the prestigious Hollis Sponsorship Awards next month, for their previous IKEA ‘Happy to Bed’ campaign, which encouraged listeners to truly love and value their bedroom and embrace spending time in it.
The campaign lasted for three months and centered around 10.30pm being the ‘optimum,’ time to go to bed and enjoy more of your bedtime, whether it’s reading a book or taking time out to meditate. IKEA sponsored Mark Crossley’s Evening Show from 22nd August – 16th December 2011 and included Spotlights, Blipverts and an Online Hub.
The campaign also incorporated a ‘Happy to Bed Track,’ mechanic, whereby listeners told Mark what song puts a smile on their face and helps them hit the pillow, for their chance to win £500 worth of IKEA vouchers.
The awards will take place on March 27th 2012 at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square.
