At this week’s Radio Festival our Head of Interactive Media Anthony Abbott presented at the Tech Con session where he discussed Absolute Radio’s innovative online and mobile advertising platform – InStream.
Anthony exclusively revealed that InStream will be enabled via the now playing screen within the new Radioplayer mobile app, the multi platform service which allows consumers to browse and stream all UK radio from one place.
The move means our listeners can now log-in to their accounts via the Radioplayer console, and in doing so receive fewer, more personally targeted ads and content. They also hear six additional minutes of music per hour in place of what had previously been reserved air time for ads.
Meanwhile, advertisers can now run demographic and location-based ad targeting via the Radioplayer console as well.
