Absolute Radio’s Christmas Session with Stereophonics at Abbey Road Studios

Christmas is nearly upon us and that mean just one thing – the Absolute Radio Christmas Sessions.

This year promises to be as memorable as ever as we’ve invited Stereophonics to perform for us at one of our favourite venues – Abbey Road Studios.

Tuesday 11th December will see the band perform for Absolute Radio in the infamous Pink Floyd studio three and lucky guests will be treated to classic tracks as well as songs from the new Stereophonics album ‘Graffiti On The Train’, set to be released in March 2013.

Abbey Road Studios are the home of recordings by numerous artists that sit at the very core of Absolute Radio’s playlist including; Radiohead, Oasis, Kate Bush, Depeche Mode, Travis, Florence and the Machine, Sting and Paul McCartney. The Studios also have an established reputation in the world of film scores with The Lord of Rings Film Trilogy recorded there, as well as comedy connections – The Goons recorded their first single there.

A special programme featuring interview and session clips will be broadcast on Absolute Radio on 16th December from 10pm on Sunday Night Music Club.
Snippets, interview audio and film footage will be available to enjoy at www.absoluteradio.co.uk
