It begins on The Frank Skinner Show on Saturday 19th January where listeners will hear in-show credits for Expedia.co.uk which will also feature in Frank’s extremely popular podcast.
Then on Monday 21st January, Geoff Lloyd’s Hometime Show will feature a waiter each day from a different country who will invoke memories of summer holidays. A Spanish waiter will be his guest one day, a Greek or French waiter another day, and they will recite lists of holiday memories (a pedalo, paella, sun screen, deck-chair etc) The first two callers through to the studio will each be given a contrasting list of items, and whoever recalls the most will win a £1,000 Expedia.co.uk voucher.
Our In-Stream Ad service will target logged-in listeners during the show with bespoke messaging such as ‘Click now for your chance to enter into the competition to win, thanks to Expedia’. By clicking on the banner, our users will be taken to the online promotional splash page.
We’ve also built a bespoke online microsite packed with pictures, links to the Expedia.co.uk website and an online competition to win £1,000. Users will have to submit a song choice that reminds them of going on holiday to enter.
