On the evening of Tuesday the 29th of January the Scottish rockers will perform tracks from their new album ‘Opposites’ in the iconic studio which is perhaps best known as the location of many of Pink Floyd’s great recordings and more recently the final recording by Amy Winehouse.
Biffy Clyro fans will have the opportunity to get their hands on these money-can’t-buy tickets through a series of ticket give-aways both on-air and online and those not lucky enough to attend will be able to listen to the performance on Pete Donaldson’s Sunday Night Music Club on Sunday 10th February.
The performance will be the fourth in the Abbey Road Sessions with Absolute Radio series; previous events have seen Paul Weller, Stereophonics and Alabama Shakes all deliver outstanding sets at the world-famous venue.
Abbey Road Studios is the home of recordings by many ‘Made in Britain’ artists that sit at the very core of Absolute Radio’s playlist including Radiohead, Oasis, Kate Bush, Depeche Mode, Travis, Florence and the Machine, Sting and Paul McCartney.
Biffy Clyro’s new album Opposites is released on January 28th and the band start the UK dates of their tour in March.
