Sunday Night Rock

This Sunday evening, a brand new show hits the airwaves on Absolute Classic Rock. Hosted by Leona Graham, Sunday Night Rock will feature only the very best rock cuts from legendary artists like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and AC/DC.

It will be a fantastic platform for Leona to engage with her dedicated fans (who refer to her as The Rock Queen!) on air and through social media, and will be an unmissable appointment-to-listen for lovers of the rock genre.

The new show will also give Leona more chances to show off her encyclopaedic knowledge of rock music – and she’ll be digging around in her personal record collection to bring in the very best album tracks and deep cuts to broadcast every week.

This Sunday, expect Iron Maiden, ZZ Top, Thin Lizzy, Bon Jovi and the The Rolling Stones (to name a few) – and we can exclusively reveal that the very first tune Leona has chosen to kick off the new show is Back in the Saddle, by the one-and-only Aerosmith.

Sunday Night Rock starts on Sunday January 27th at 9pm, on Absolute Classic Rock.

Its been away TOOOO long, but I’m very pleased that its here again, and I hope its gonna be like the old days, with rare, loooong and full length rock n roll tunes :-) Well done AR..!

Finally, music on a music station, and quality rock music at that. This is what your listeners want, and proof that containing her to a Saturday night isn’t enough.
A wise decision bringing back the Sunday night show.

Leona is no doubt one of the most authentic rock DJs out there, and the return of Sunday Night Rock will certainly add to the credibility of Absolute Classic Rock. If given free reign, she’ll turn this show into a major success– and I truly can’t wait for the first show!

Leona is one of the most talented and versatile presenters associated with Absolute Radio. It is ALWAYS a pleasure to listen to her broadcast no matter what she is presenting.

I’m very much looking forward to Sunday Night Rock. The neighbors be damned, the volume will be turned up to the max.

Gr8 news, but its not “brand new” is it. You already took it away from us rock fans once just like the hour you stole on Saturday nights so that men can talk about other men playing with their balls on air. The old SNR show was brilliant with a capital BR, Leona let loose to chat about the music she actually listens to is an aural pleasure! It used to be like we were all sitting on the floor of her living room going thru her vinyl collection with her. Pure bliss!!
