That sounds fascinating - my aunt has 100s of Pearson photos which I'm hoping to see this Summer - but I doubt whether she will be able to identify many of them - I remember looking at them with my Grandmother in the 1980s and none of them were marked with names etc.

Philip and Peary,

I would love to share information about the Pearsons. I have a photograph album that my great-grandfather, Charles Leslie Pearson brought from England. Many of the photographs are identified but some are not. I'm hoping that one of the unidentified ones is Henry Robert Pearson. There is a photo of the family "nurse" Esther Aylward who was with the family for 43 years. Peary, did your mother find anything in her research?

John's Father, John Pearson (9 June 1736 - 24 February 1778) was either a peruke-maker or barber in Coney Street, York. Have been unable to find out anything else.

Betsy and Philip, I believe we are also related through John Pearson! My mother and her husband are currently in York visiting and did more research today at the library there. Would love to be in contact with you all to share information.
