Good to read about Andy Bush joining Absolute Radio, but I must take you to task with the comment about your “stellar” line up in which you include two stand up comedians and a football pundit, but fail to mention the real stars of your station such as Leona Graham and Vicki Blight. This is the talent that attracts me to your station. Professional music presenters who do the job to perfection.

Stupid. It doesn’t take 2 years of experience to learn how to use a piece of software. Your recruitment policy is archaic.

Callum is clearly ambitious and energetic, as demonstrated through his student radio commitment. There won’t be a problem learning the peripheries of the job. You have systematically dismissed someone who can bring energy and new ideas to your station.

This is yet another example of a recruiter using the infinite free space of the internet to over-specify the requirements of a role, simply because the space is there to be used. You will never find the perfect person who matches all those criteria. It angers me to no end. You should consider a more intelligent approach.

The new DJ said “Since grabbing a coffee with Clive Dickens 5 years ago, I knew there and then that Absolute Radio is where I wanted to be”

This doesn’t make sense as Absolute Radio only came into existance on 28th September 2008 – that’s only 3 ½ years ago!!! Can’t help wondering if the DJ really said that or if someone in the AR Creative Department got a bit carried away.

As present we do not have any plans to include Absolute Radio 60s on the freesat platform but you can find out about other ways to listen to the station here http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/listen/
